Facade dismantling for refurbishment and changes of use

SEGIM Schweiz supports facade contractors, architects and main contractors with interior and exterior facade removal. Existing structure, cutting methods and protection measures are assessed in advance.

Exterior facades and insulation

Ventilated and rendered facades, supporting frames and insulation can be removed within agreed limits. Fibre cement and older insulation require material and contaminant assessment; suspected asbestos requires separate specialist procedures.

Interior linings and glazing

Acoustic panels, timber linings, dry linings and shaft enclosures are removed following checks of services and fire protection. Windows, curtain walls and shading systems require assessment of glass, weights, fixings and electrical isolation.

Openings and protection

Openings require structural and services checks and relevant permits. Suitable low-vibration cutting, supports, fall prevention and pedestrian protection are planned with specialists and applicable Suva guidance.

Separation and service regions

Insulation, metals, glass and mineral rubble are separated where possible under VVEA requirements. Recovery depends on quality and contamination. From Regensdorf we plan projects in Zurich, Aargau, Basel, Bern, Lucerne, St. Gallen and all other cantons.
