Heating systems and boilers
Agreed work may include oil, gas and pellet boilers, district heating stations, water heaters, radiators, convectors and steel or copper pipes. Steel and plastic battery tanks are removed after assessment, required emptying, cleaning and documented clearance.
Ventilation and air conditioning
Air handling units, heat recovery systems and rooftop units are dismantled following assessment. Spiral ducts, silencers and fire dampers may be included; retained fire protection functions are agreed beforehand. Mineral and synthetic duct insulation is removed only after material and contaminant assessment, with suitable precautions and disposal routes.
Plumbing and wet areas
Service risers, cast iron or PE wastewater pipes and freshwater lines are removed within defined boundaries. Complete removal of released sanitary fittings in residential, office and commercial buildings can be agreed after disconnection, draining and clearance.
Refrigeration systems
Required refrigerant work is coordinated with the responsible specialist before mechanical dismantling. Recovery and required disposal are carried out under ChemRRV by appropriately licensed persons or under their supervision. Condensers, compressors and refrigeration lines can be mechanically removed after documented clearance.
Fire protection, adjacent equipment and material separation
Cold cutting and fire protection
Suitable cold and low-vibration methods, such as reciprocating saws, band saws or hydraulic cutters, are assessed for confined plant rooms. Selection depends on materials, space and risk assessment. Cold methods can still produce sparks or heat; fire and explosion precautions and clearances are defined separately.
Protecting active adjacent systems
Work areas and removal boundaries are marked and separated. Retained systems are identified with the operator. Protection, isolation points and necessary supply interruptions are agreed in advance; continued supply depends on technical feasibility and the agreed sequence.
Recovery and material separation
Copper, brass, scrap steel and stainless steel are collected separately where possible after assessment. Mineral wool and PUR insulation are assessed separately and routed according to condition and possible contamination. Sorting, recovery and evidence are planned with regard to VVEA and project requirements.

Protection and material logistics
Work areas, access routes and retained building elements are agreed before work starts. Dust controls, extraction and personal protective equipment are selected for the task. Materials are separated and sent to appropriate recovery or disposal facilities.

Questions about quotations, preparation and handover
What do you need to prepare a quotation?
Please send the location, photos or plans, the required scope and preferred dates. Dimensions, access arrangements, existing services and any material surveys are also helpful.
What needs to be ready before work starts?
The work boundaries, access, protection measures and responsibilities must be agreed. Responsible specialists must complete any necessary service isolation, hazardous-material surveys and clearances before work starts.
How are removal and handover arranged?
Material separation, transport routes, disposal records and the handover condition are specified in the quotation. Broom-clean handover or additional cleaning is provided within the agreed scope.
