Dismantling of industrial equipment, production lines and structures.
Request a quotation ↗Sequence, interfaces and intended reuse are coordinated with your equipment.
Weights, lifting points, floor capacity and routes determine the handling equipment.
Work is planned with regard to applicable Suva guidance and project-specific precautions. Sorting, recovery routes and required evidence are agreed. Work alongside ongoing operations is assessed beforehand against operational and safety conditions.
Production lines, conveyors, silos, mixing plants and industrial furnaces are dismantled systematically within the agreed scope. Sequence depends on construction, access and operational interfaces.
Parts intended for reuse, reassembly or sale are labelled, documented and prepared accordingly. Otherwise, sorting, recovery and scrapping are agreed.
Heavy machine tools, presses, CNC machines, injection moulding equipment and transformers are removed after technical assessment. Weight, centre of gravity, lifting points, floor capacity and routes are checked.
Suitable skates, hydraulic jacks, mobile cranes and lifting accessories are planned for the project, involving specialist partners where needed. Confined spaces require coordinated removal planning.
Steam, gas, compressed air, cooling and process water lines are mechanically dismantled only after disconnection, necessary draining, depressurisation and specialist clearance.
Ventilation units, refrigeration systems, emergency generators and switchgear may be included. Refrigerants, operating fluids and electrical isolation are handled by responsible specialists before mechanical work.
Oil tanks, chemical vessels, pressure vessels and process storage are assessed for contents, materials, residues and access. Required emptying, cleaning, decontamination and documented clearance must be secured before work.
Cold cutting methods such as nibblers or shears are selected through risk assessment. Cold cutting is not automatically spark-free; explosive risks require an agreed protection plan and explicitly suitable equipment.
SEGIM Schweiz supports machinery, industrial and factory dismantling throughout Switzerland. Removal of production equipment is coordinated with existing technology, intended reuse and operational interfaces.
Loads, dimensions, structural capacity and routes are assessed. Specialist transport, lifting equipment and partners are incorporated following technical review.
Units, ducts and refrigeration equipment are mechanically removed after shutdown and clearance. Refrigerants and operating fluids are handled beforehand by responsible specialists.
Dismantling, sorting, recovery and disposal routes are agreed for obsolete equipment. Required project documentation is defined in the scope.
Methods are selected according to materials, surroundings and risk assessment. Hot work is considered only where suitable, with required work clearance and agreed fire and explosion precautions.
Project-specific risks are assessed before work. Protective measures, responsibilities and clearances are established. Suitable personal protective equipment and applicable Suva guidance are considered in preparation.
Dust- and noise-reducing methods, barriers and agreed access routes can reduce effects on adjacent production. Feasibility and any necessary stoppages are assessed with the operator.
Flame or plasma cutting requires suitability assessment and work clearance. Combustible materials, shielding, extinguishing equipment, supervision and any required fire watch and follow-up checks are defined through the protection plan and local requirements.
Copper, aluminium, stainless steel and other metals are collected separately where possible following assessment. Precious-metal-containing components are assessed separately. Any payment or cost credit depends on quality, quantity, market prices and express agreement; proceeds are not guaranteed.
Weights, lifting points and access routes are checked. Qualified specialists isolate the relevant services first.

Provide the location, photos, plans and the required scope.
Review access, material condition, service isolation and required clearances.
Define responsibilities, logistics and the handover condition clearly.
Work areas, access routes and retained building elements are agreed before work starts. Dust controls, extraction and personal protective equipment are selected for the task. Materials are separated and sent to appropriate recovery or disposal facilities.

FAQ
Please send the location, photos or plans, the required scope and preferred dates. Dimensions, access arrangements, existing services and any material surveys are also helpful.
The work boundaries, access, protection measures and responsibilities must be agreed. Responsible specialists must complete any necessary service isolation, hazardous-material surveys and clearances before work starts.
Material separation, transport routes, disposal records and the handover condition are specified in the quotation. Broom-clean handover or additional cleaning is provided within the agreed scope.
